The Wall Street Journal reports on eminent domain and regulatory takings ballot propositions in several states. Unfortunately, the article perpetuates this silly meme that somehow reform proponents are trying to sneak regulatory takings reform in, when in fact they're quite open about the fact that government should compensate property owners for taking their property, in whatever manner—whether "honestly" through eminent domain, or in the sneaky form of regulatory takings.
