Endangered Species Day?
Senator Feinstein of California has introduced a resolution to designate May 15 as Endangered Species Day. Some may interpret the move as politically outrageous or courageous, depending upon your perspective, given that the Endangered Species Act has the California farm economy on the ropes (cf. the delta smelt).
