Earlier this week, Fox News produced this report, and FoxNews.com ran this story, on the case of Florida property owner Gilbert Fornatora.  PLF attorneys, as lead counsel in the case, have petitioned the United States Supreme Court to hear Fornatora's appeal, which centers on three decades of government efforts to take his property without paying just compensation.

Featured in both Fox News accounts is Ilya Shapiro of the Cato Institute, who supported PLF's petition with a fine amicus brief, as did the National Federation of Independent Business.

The Court is scheduled to decide whether to take the case at its conference on January 8, 2010.
