Sean Hannity covers PLF gopher frog case

PLF represents one of the landowners who are challenging the “critical habitat” designation of more than 1500 acres of private land in Louisiana.  As explained in a previous post, the land should have never been designated because it provides no habitat for the species whatsoever.  In fact, the frog has not been seen in the state for 50 years and the designated area does not contain the characteristics the frog needs to survive.  Last night, Fox News aired an investigative piece about the case on the Hannity Show demonstrating the absurdity of imposing onerous federal restrictions on private land that provides no benefit to the protected species.  This case has garnered national attention because it represents such a stark example of federal overreaching under the Endangered Species Act.
