How many steps does it take to get a species off the endangered species list?

As explained this morning, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and National Marine Fisheries Service have utterly failed to comply with their Endangered Species Act obligations to review the status of protected species every 5 years and remove those species from the list that shouldn’t be there.

The infographic on the left documents the pointless hoops that Service bureaucrats force the public to jump through in order to get it to act, even when it acknowledges that a species should be delisted. It also gives you some of the more egregious examples of the agencies’ lawlessness in this process.
