insult to injury for folks in Wyoming

Many in Wyoming are obviously frustrated by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service's decision to delist the gray wolf from the Endangered Species Act in every state but (ironically) the Equality State. NRDC's Andrew Wetzler has a good analysis on why those frustrations may be exacerbated as a result of the Wyoming population of the wolf no longer being classified as experimental. According to Wetzler, "[n]ot only was Wyoming left out of the Fish and Wildlife Service’s wolf delisting decision but, as a necessary consequence of that decision, it may find that its management options for wolves just got much, much narrower."
