The Montana Suprme Court has unanimously upheld the decision by Judge Dirk Sandefur (no relation!) to bar the state's eminent domain reform initiative from the ballot, due to fraudulent signature-gathering. Of course the opposition is milking this by saying that it's proof the initiative itself was flawed, when what really happened was that the backers of the initiative hired signature-gatherers who provided false signatures and did other illegal things.
