New video featuring PLF client Troy Castillo

Troy Castillo, a former sergeant and police detective, just wants to work in Nevada.  With his years of experience at the Palm Springs, California, police department, he’s obviously well-qualified to work as a private investigator in the Silver State.  And indeed he applied for and was a given a Nevada P.I. license.  But last year the state passed a law that requires him and other out-of-state licensees to either bear the expense of opening an office in Nevada, or forfeit their right to earn a living.  This law is a clear attempt to insulate Nevada P.I.s from competition, at the expense of entrepreneurs from elsewhere, as well as consumers.  Follow our efforts to fight Nevada’s anti-competitive law here, here, and here.
