The New Year looks a lot like the old one in Riviera Beach, Florida, with formal allegations of financial improprieties that violate Florida law.

Specifically, an audit conducted by the State of Florida found that the city's Community Redevelopment Agency–the entity in charge of Riviera Beach's illegal eminent domain scheme, and a named defendant in PLF's lawsuit to stop it–has failed to follow state law governing public finances on numerous occasions.

The Palm Beach Post has the details.  The entire article's worth reading, but the key findings are summarized in the sidebar on the left.
