PLF A.B. 32 legal challenge to be highlighted at American Bar Association annual meeting

August 08, 2013 | By PACIFIC LEGAL FOUNDATION

On Friday, August 9, 2013, I’ll be speaking to lawyers from around the nation converging at the annual meeting of the American Bar Association in San Francisco, regarding PLF’s legal challenge to CARB’s Cap and Trade Regulation.  The regulation is the only one of its kind among the 50 states, and the lawsuit has garnered national attention.

I’ll also be discussing other greenhouse gas regulatory challenges brought by PLF during the past three years, which are pending in various courts, and which involve government efforts to regulate virtually every aspect of the nation’s life, under the guise of controlling carbon dioxide emissions.  These regulations are changing the face of environmental law, and not for the better.  PLF is at the forefront of efforts to stem this unfortunate tidal wave.

The lead attorney representing CARB will be there too, so it should make for a lively debate.

The presentation will be at the Moscone Center West, Room 2024, 2nd Floor, starting at 3:45 p.m.
