PLF ESA success

In 2005 PLF represented various home builder groups in challenging overbroad critical habitat designation for numerous species in California, including the Quino checkerspot butterfly. Today, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service issued its final revised critical habitat designation reducing the amount from 171,604 acres to 62,125 acres (64%) in San Diego and Riverside Counties.
