Today, the Times-Standard published an opinion editorial by Gary Bird—president of Citizens for a Better Eureka, which is the client in our recently filed appeal against the California Coastal Commission.  The issue on appeal concerns whether the Commission has the power to interfere in the decision of a landowner and local officials to have the owner's land cleaned up.  The op-ed has some interesting observations about the Coastal Commission and its self-proclaimed role of protector of the environment.
