PLF's Sandefur, Wood, and Thompson on property, race, and economic liberty

June 01, 2015 | By TIMOTHY SANDEFUR

I guest-hosted a show on KFMB radio in San Diego last week, and discussed many of the cases PLF’s litigating in defense of private property rights, racial equality, and sensible environmental policy. In the first hour Monday, I talked about our litigation on behalf of the right to earn a living, and in particular our lawsuits challenging Competitor’s Veto laws. You can listen here. On Thursday, I talked with Jonathan Wood about the extreme reach of federal environmental law. And in the second hour on Friday, I talked in the second hour with Joshua Thompson about disparate impact, the Fisher case, and the problem of government discriminating against people or giving them preferences on the basis of race.
