Poll: Florida Eminent Domain Amendment Set To Pass

A Miami Herald poll records 55% support for a proposed amendment to Florida's Constitution prohibiting eminent domain for private redevelopment.  Only 36% oppose. 

If approved by voters in November, the amendment would be a constitutional counterpart to the legislation Governor Jeb Bush signed into law in May–perhaps the toughest such post-Kelo measure in the nation.
