President Obama nominates PLF attorney to key Administration post

Per this press release from the Office of the White House Press Secretary, President Obama has nominated PLF Principal Attorney Sharon L. Browne to serve on the Board of Directors of the Legal Services Corporation.  Established by Congress in 1974, the Legal Services Corporation is a bipartisan, private, non-profit organization designed to provide legal assistance to low-income Americans.

Congratulations to Sharon, who is most deserving of this honor and will serve LSC, and the nation, with distinction.
