School choice working in Wisconsin

Our friends at the MacIver Institute report on the latest Wisconsin Student Assessment System results.  Wisconsin, you may know, recently expanded its first-in-the-nation school choice program.  What once only covered Milwaukee Public Schools was expanded to include Racine.  Lo and behold, the choice schools are improving student performance much better than the public schools.

This comes on the heels of the latest report from the Friedman Foundation for Educational Choice, which shows dramatic improvements for choice students across the country.  We still have a lot of work to do in order to ensure that all families have options on where to educate their children.  But, quite literally, our future is at stake.
