Senator Vitter lauds PLF for challenging illegal critical habitat designation

U.S. Senator David Vitter (R-LA), who sits on the Senate Committee on Environment & Public Works, issued a statement today underscoring abuses of the Endangered Species Act and applauding PLF’s suit (filed today) challenging the over broad critical habitat designation for the dusky gopher frog in Louisiana.  Among other things, the Senator acknowledges PLF’s role in protecting property rights and seeking a balanced approach to environmental regulation.  His full statement can be read here.
