Service will try again to delist gray wolves

October 27, 2008 | By PACIFIC LEGAL FOUNDATION

Here's a report that the Service will open a comment period tomorrow on a new proposal to delist parts of the Nothern Rocky Mountain population of gray wolf.  Environmentalist groups successfully challenegd earlier this year the Service's delisting of the same wolf population.  The Service is contemplating keeping the Wyoming wolf population on the list, and delisting wolves in Montana and Idaho.
