Dave Mohel joined Pacific Legal Foundation in 2024 as media manager with a focus on property rights. He brings decades of media and communications expertise in public affairs and government reform advocacy.
Prior to joining PLF, Dave was the president of BlueSkin Solutions, a communications and marketing firm. He has experience in traditional earned media, paid advertising, and new media solutions. He also provided media services for some of the largest political events across the country.
Before BlueSkin Solutions, Dave worked at various public relations firms handling communications for organizations, businesses, authors, and political candidates. He was at one of the first companies that bridged the gap between political organizations and technology, helping national groups, political campaigns, and state-based think tanks develop comprehensive new media strategies. He also worked for several grassroots groups managing their communications and congressional affairs departments, including coordinating multi-state initiative and referendum campaigns and congressional candidate pledge campaigns.
Dave received a bachelor’s degree in political science from the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. He lives in Northern Virginia with his two sons and dog.
