John A. Cameron

Liberty Society Manager

Sacramento

Years ago, before John jumped out of airplanes and carried a machine gun for a living, he swore an oath. Part of that oath is below.

I, John A. Cameron, do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; . . .

After the military, John went to school on the GI Bill, earning a BS in Business Administration from CSUS. Following a successful run as a sales manager at Capital Cities/ABC and Disney, including 37 quarters in a row of sales increases, John started customsalestraining.com and theeffectiveleadershipcoach.com, teaching and consulting in leadership, management, project management, and sales. He could handle the long hours, asking for the order, his competition, and even the vagaries of the economy. What frustrated John most, often made him feel powerless, was the massive government intrusion into his life and the lives of his clients—what we now call the administrative state.

John refused to go to his grave a bitter old man who didn’t do something about this massive government overreach. He wasn’t a lawyer and didn’t have the wherewithal to write a $100K check, so when the opportunity to work as a development officer for Pacific Legal Foundation came along, he grabbed it. Now, as Liberty Society Manager for PLF, he has a wonderful opportunity to . . . support and defend the Constitution of the United States.

On a lighter note, one of his favorite quotes is Life is way too important to take seriously.

He is most proud of his wonderful relationships with his wife, the talented and beautiful Susan, and his caring and committed daughter Kristense.

John spends his spare working out, in nature, or at a local coffee house putting the finishing touches on his next thriller.
