Author: Timothy Sandefur

I’ll be speaking on Tuesday at 5:45 pm at the Willamette School of Law Federalist Society in Portland, Oregon, on originalism in constitutional interpretation.

On March 1 at 4pm, I’ll be speaking at the Cato Institute about McDonald v. Chicago. That’s the Supreme Court case involving the right to keep and bear arms, but that also involves some very important issues for entrepreneurs, as discussed here. Cato’s Ilya Shapiro and Roger Pilon will also speak.

On March 3 at noon, I’ll be participating in a briefing for Capitol Hill staff, also about McDonald. That event will also include Ilya Shapiro and Clark Neily of the Institute for Justice.

Then on March 24, again at noon, I’ll be speaking at the Clemson Institute for the Study of Capitalism, at Clemson University in South Carolina, on the subject of my forthcoming book, The Right to Earn A Living.

Finally, on March 25, at noon, I’ll be speaking to the Federalist Society at the University of South Carolina Law School in Columbia—also about economic freedom and the law.
