Welcome to School Choice Week 2016

For the fifth consecutive year, Pacific Legal Foundation is proud to be celebrating School Choice Week with the hundreds of thousands of students, parents, educators, and advocates who value choice in education.

The growth of School Choice Week has paralleled PLF’s own growth in school choice advocacy and litigation. This year, School Choice Week will be sponsoring 16,140 school choice-related events across the country.  [Here you can find an event near you.] Also this year PLF is increasing its school choice litigation.  We are already fighting for school choice in Montana — representing Kathy and Jerry Armstrong in their fight for educational choice. We are also involved in school choice litigation in California, Pennsylvania, Florida, and the United States Supreme Court.

It’s important that you join the hundreds of thousands of us celebrating School Choice Week. School choice gives hope to thousands, and hundreds of thousands of more kids are on waiting lists for choice schools. Nevertheless, teachers unions, bureaucrats, and school districts continue to put up barriers to school choice. All week, as PLF shares our school choice stories, please share them with your family, friends, and colleagues. School choice is a fight for America’s future, and we can use all the supporters we can get.
