Laura Delhomme is Pacific Legal Foundation’s Chief Operating Officer, where she works across departments and capabilities to ensure all aspects of PLF are prepared and motivated to advance the cause of individual liberty. She also oversees the Talent & Culture, IT, Business Intelligence, and Administration teams.
As a passionate people leader, she enjoys helping organizations operate more effectively, ease collaboration gaps across teams, and driving an empowering culture. At PLF, Laura is excited to channel her passion for strategy and culture into the world of litigation and legal reform.
Prior to PLF, Laura worked at the Stand Together community and at Koch Industries, where she built her career in knowledge management, learning & development, accounting transformation, and design thinking. She earned her bachelor’s degree in computer science at Georgia Southern University and started her career in IT consulting. She was brought into the ideas of liberty through reading John Grisham and Ayn Rand (an admittedly unlikely combination).
Outside of work, Laura cycles through hobbies pretty regularly: Past initiatives have included a brief stint in stand-up comedy and running for office (Virginia house of delegates). She currently enjoys yoga, oil painting, and trying to teach her dog new tricks (open question of who is actually being trained). She lives in Falls Church, Virginia, with her wife Allison, dog Elway, and cat Dagny.
