Caitlin Styrsky joined Pacific Legal Foundation in 2025 as a strategic research manager specializing in equality and opportunity. In this role, she conducts research and analysis to support PLF’s litigation and policy initiatives aimed at advancing equality under the law and economic opportunity for all Americans.
Before joining PLF, Caitlin served as a policy analyst in the Texas Legislature and later worked as a writer and editor at Ballotpedia. Her experiences within state government and as an independent researcher have guided her lifelong journey of learning and discovery about the virtues of liberty and the fight against government overreach.
Caitlin holds a B.A. degree from the University of Texas at Austin and an M.P.P. from the University of Chicago. She lives in rural Montana, where she enjoys hiking, fly fishing, cross-country skiing, and losing herself in a good book beneath the Big Sky.
