The Baltimore Sun's Jill Rosen has an article on yesterdays's excellent decision from the Maryland Court of Appeals in Baltimore v. Valsamaki. The AP has this story on the case, and the Maryland Daily Record has this story, which includes an all-too-typical reaction from the bureaucrats who think your property exists for them to do with as they please:
City Solicitor George Nilson worries the top court's decision could slow development in Baltimore.
"Quick-take proceedings are critically important," he said. “If you don't do quick-take, you're not likely to get very many significant proposals from developers."
