Supreme Court denies 3 cert petitions — but we’ll be back

The Supreme Court today denied our petitions in Stewart & Jasper Orchards v. Jewell (whether the biological opinion for the Delta Smelt should consider the economic devastation of Central Valley farmers and farmworkers);Kentner v. City of Sanibel Island (whether property is protected by the Due Process Clause), and Liberty Coins LLC v. Goodman (whether the First Amendment protects the right to advertise your business without a license).

While we’re disappointed, we will be back.  Keep in mind that in some of PLF’s biggest victories before the Court (Sackett, Palazzolo, Koontz), the Court granted cert only after repeatedly denying cert on similar questions presented in other cases.
