In an effort to increase collaboration between public interest litigators, researchers, grassroots advocates, and policy professionals, PLF is launching a virtual event series called “Public Interest Law 101,” designed to unpack the nuts and bolts of public interest litigation for non-litigators.
On September 13, join us for the first event in this series, Pulling Back the Curtain: Public Interest Litigation for Non-Litigators. This one-hour training will serve as an introduction to our “Public Interest Law 101” series. Leading public interest litigators will introduce public interest litigation (What’s the difference between federal and state courts? How do you build and bring a winning case? How do you get to the Supreme Court?); discuss the strategy behind impact litigation; and explore case studies of public interest litigation that has intersected with traditional policy work.
