Brandon Beyer joined Pacific Legal Foundation as an attorney in 2024. His work focuses on equality and opportunity.
Brandon grew up in North Dakota with a family that valued earned success and gratitude. His interest in liberty and individual prosperity grew while he studied global markets during his undergraduate degree. This economics background became his political philosophy after learning that liberal democratic capitalism was the greatest liberating force and most successful anti-poverty program ever conceived.
Brandon graduated with honors from the University of North Dakota in 2017 with a B.B.A. in finance. He was elected student body president in his final year at UND. He earned his law degree from Notre Dame Law School in 2021. He served as the managing articles editor for the Notre Dame Journal of Legislation, which also published his note advocating for legislation to guarantee name, image, and likeness compensation for college athletes.
Before joining PLF, Brandon clerked for the Honorable Chief Judge Kerry W. Meyer in Hennepin County, Minnesota. He also interned at the National Taxpayers Union Foundation and Cato Institute’s Center for Constitutional Studies.
Brandon loves all things related to health, nutrition, and fitness. He is an avid follower of fantasy football and Formula One. He also bears the heavy burden of being a fan of the Minnesota Vikings and Notre Dame football.
Brandon is a member of the bar only in the state of Minnesota.
