[Past Event] – Emerging Issues in Equality & Opportunity

Date: February 15, 2023
Location: Virtual via Zoom
Time: 3:00 p.m. EST – 4:00 p.m. EST

Equal rights for all is a signature ideal of the American project.

Today, however, this fundamental principle faces grave threats.

There is a startling call for government to treat individuals differently based on immutable characteristics such as race or sex. We see growing efforts by government to arbitrarily pick winners and losers—whether through school admissions, federal loan payments, or the ability to operate a business—in order to engineer a preferred version of the deceptively named “equity.”

PLF rejects such reductionist, neo-collectivist thinking as immoral, unjust, and unconstitutional. And we fight back against it every day.

Please join us for the third of our four-part webinar series, Emerging Issues in Equality & Opportunity. Our PLF attorney panel will discuss the challenges of dismantling unconstitutional barriers to opportunity and the best strategies to free individuals to rise based on their choices, character, and ability.
