It used to be illegal for Zip Kombucha to host live music. Illegal for Grace Ridge Brewing and Sweetgale Meadworks & Cider House, too.
While bars and restaurants across Alaska could host bands without second thought, breweries and wineries like Zip, Grace Ridge, and Sweetgale were banned from doing that very thing. Luckily, that’s now changed, thanks to a successful legal challenge. The restriction is gone, restoring the simple freedom to gather, celebrate, and enjoy live music together.
