Government to respond to Sissel suit

The Department of Justice is supposed to respond to Matt Sissel's complaint on Monday, November 15. We expect the government to raise the same arguments against Matt's suit that it has raised in Virginia and Florida's suits. The Courts in both of those cases have allowed the challenging states to advance their suits; however, the Eastern District of Michigan has dismissed a similar suit filed by the Thomas More Law Center.
