Governor Schwarzenegger and the Delta Crisis
Indymedia has this piece today taking a rather critical view of the governor's attempts to play on both sides of the water wars, as the Green Governor but also as a Marcher for Water. The governor appeared last Friday and spoke briefly at the San Luis Reservoir in Central California, site of the Latino Water Coalition's Rally for Water. Although the governor made no clear commitments at the rally, his presence certainly intimated support for the water marchers' efforts to find relief from the ESA-imposed restrictions on Delta water pumping.
