Dwight “Jim” Baum

Dwight “Jim” Baum is a mechanical and aerospace engineer, decorated U.S. Air Force pilot, and longtime aviation professional. A graduate of Cornell and Stanford universities, he served as a C-141 pilot and flew special operations missions in Vietnam, earning the Distinguished Flying Cross and numerous Air Medals before continuing his career with the FAA, Eastern Airlines, and Air Jamaica. Baum has also served as Chairman of the Board of USC’s Viterbi School of Engineering and remains active in investing, land development, and philanthropy.
