Update — No news on Fisher
For the past two weeks we have been getting excited about the Supreme Court’s looming descicion on whether to grant certiorari in Fisher v. University of Texas. We were expecting to learn that news today. Alas, the Supreme Court neither granted nor denied Fisher today. I am not into prognostications, but it’s safe to say I was pleased that Fisher was not on the Court’s lengthy list of denials this morning. At this point we can expect a grant or denial at any point. We will keep you apprised.
UPDATE: Scotusblog is reporting that Fisher is now set for the Friday conference.
