Ashley Torkelson Levine is an attorney in Pacific Legal Foundation’s Separation of Powers group. She believes that the structural protections provided in the Constitution are critical in the endeavor to achieve liberty for all and merit ardent safeguarding. She is also passionate about stopping government overreach that stifles innovation and creates unnecessary barriers to entry.
Prior to joining PLF, Ashley served as an assistant attorney general for the State of Arizona, where she practiced appeals in the Solicitor General’s Office. Before joining the Arizona Attorney General’s Office, Ashley served on active duty as a judge advocate in the United States Air Force. She began her career as a clerk to Justice Clint Bolick on the Arizona Supreme Court.
She studied biochemistry and political science at the University of San Diego and graduated cum laude from American University Washington College of Law.
Ashley spends her free time with her husband, Mike, and their two children. She loves playing sports of any kind and catching up on all her favorite Bravo television shows. She also serves as appellate counsel in the United States Air Force Reserve.
Ashley is a member of the bar only in Arizona.
