Cameron Halling works in Pacific Legal Foundation’s Separation of Powers practice, where he works to defend the structural protections enshrined in the Constitution. Cameron’s journey to PLF began as a student of philosophy and political science at the University of Oregon, where he grew to understand and respect the Framers’ vision to secure individual liberty and provide for a truly free society.
Recently, Cameron spent nearly a decade in private practice representing clients in state and federal court. Before that, he attended UC Law San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings), where he served as a staff editor for the Hastings Constitutional Law Quarterly and as a research assistant for the UC Law Consortium on Law, Science & Health Policy, with a focus on the intersection between health care and antitrust law.
When not at work, Cameron enjoys reading historical treatises, playing tabletop roleplaying games, and spending time with his family. As a vociferous student of ideas, he enjoys philosophical discussions and always welcomes opportunities to gain knowledge for its own sake.
