Milton Friedman once said, “The great advances of civilization… have never come from centralized government.” David Olson takes that personally and works every day to prove that meaningful change doesn’t come from bureaucracies, but from bold individuals who believe in liberty.
With over two decades of executive leadership and fundraising experience, David recently led the statewide expansion of ACE Scholarships Mississippi, building a donor base that empowered low-income families to access school choice. Across his career as a CEO and senior executive, he’s grown organizations across many sectors, focusing on what matters: real people making real impact.
A Marine Corps veteran and published researcher, David earned his PhD in communications and has taught business and leadership at Michigan State University, Northwood University, and Mississippi College. David and his wife Brooke have four children and two dogs. Together, they enjoy spending time outdoors, whether skiing in the winter, boating and running in the summer, or making memories at the beach year-round. For David, liberty isn’t just a professional mission, it’s the foundation for a full, meaningful family life.
