Government cannot play shell games to avoid constitutional obligations

Americans have the right to make economically beneficial use of their property. If the government is going to restrict how you use your property, it is obligated to make clear what those restrictions are and how to compensate you if those restrictions remove economic use of the property.

To Our Donors

Property owners shouldn’t have to jump through impossible hoops just to defend their property rights in court. By supporting PLF, you empower Randy Ralston and Linda Mendiola—and all Americans—to challenge government shell games that reduce property rights to second-class rights. Thank you!
