Blighted in Brooklyn
Brooklyn Record has a post on the Atlantic Yards project. "Last week, the Empire State Development Corporation officially declared the area blighted, marking 'the first step in a process that could eventually allow Forest City to acquire, through eminent domain, the few remaining parcels that the company has not been able to acquire privately over the last few years.'"
Meanwhile, the Daily News is gung-ho about taking people's land.
