Coastal Commission Extortion

Here's
an L.A. Times story on how the Coastal Commission has for years been
successfully extorting money from developers, by requiring developers
to subsidize "low cost" tourist accommodations as a condition of
obtaining a permit. 

Just another example of legalized theft by the biggest abuser of property rights in the California coastal zone.
