During the COVID-19 pandemic, telehealth services became a lifeline for millions of Americans. Technological advances in video conferencing and remote monitoring enabled patients and providers to meet virtually, unlocking critical access to care that may otherwise have been out of reach.
Yet despite the success of these practices during the pandemic, many regulatory barriers limiting virtual care remain in place today.
