Michael Dearing is founder of seed-stage venture capital firm, Harrison Metal Capital, and a retired Consulting Associate Professor at Stanford University’s School of Engineering. Mr. Dearing taught some of the most popular courses in the University on entrepreneurship, startup finance, and commercializing new technology. Prior to starting Harrison Metal Capital, Mr. Dearing worked in senior leadership positions at eBay and The Walt Disney Company. He holds an A.B. from Brown in economics and an MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School. Mr. Dearing serves on the President’s Advisory Council for the Center for Philosophy, Politics, and Economics at Brown University. He resides in Jackson, Wyoming, and Palm Beach, Florida.
