PLF Comments on Proposed ESA Regs
Here are PLF's comments, submitted today, on the proposed amendments to existing regulations implementing the ESA. Although PLF applauds the Service in its attempt to streamline the oftentimes unnecessarily arduous, burdensome, and timeconsuming administrative processes under the ESA, PLF urges the Service to go further in its proposed amendments, to ensure that the ESA is not used to put the interests of animals and plants above the interests of the human community.
