The Palm Springs (CA) Desert Sun comes out against Prop. 90, once again using the tired old trope that requiring just compensation for regulatory takings is some sort of trick. "The best costume prize this month should go to Proposition 90, a real wolf in sheep's clothing." This is getting very tired. If there's one thing everyone in California knows, it's that Proposition 90 would require compensation both for outright seizures of land and for the sneaky form of seizures called "regulatory takings." If it's a secret, it's the worst kept secret in the world.
