Separation of Powers

Jack O’Neill is a Litigation Fellow in Pacific Legal Foundation’s Separation of Powers group, where he defends individual liberty and constitutional limits on government power.

Jack earned a B.S. in political science from Texas Christian University’s John V. Roach Honors College and a J.D. from Florida State University College of Law. His interest in political science and constitutional law began in high school, where he studied Enlightenment thinkers including Locke, Montesquieu, and Rousseau. In law school, he served as president of FSU College of Law’s chapter of The Federalist Society and held law clerk roles across Florida state government, including in the Executive Office of Governor Ron DeSantis and the Office of Attorney General James Uthmeier.

Outside work, Jack enjoys working out, golfing, watching college football, and spending time with his wife and their German shepherd, Pepper.
