Roger Pattison leads the fundraising and development team for Pacific Legal Foundation, where he works alongside PLF’s generous donors to fight for Americans’ individual rights when the government tramples on them.
Roger loves working with PLF’s donors because they are passionate about advancing freedom and have incredible stories of how they achieved their American Dream. They give their time and resources to ensure all Americans can live free and fulfilling lives.
Prior to joining PLF, Roger led the development and marketing teams for ACE Scholarships, a national K-12 school choice organization. He helped them expand into four new states and grow from serving 10,000 students to over 25,000. For many years, he also led a regional development team with Stand Together, where he supported political campaigns and liberty-advancing causes. He first came across the ideas of freedom at Hillsdale College, where he was required to take an economics class. After that, he became hooked on the economic way of thinking and dedicated his life to protecting property rights, freedom, and western civilization.
Roger was drawn to work at PLF because the team is known for being freedom fighters…and they win. He was attracted to PLF’s swashbuckling ethos due to his many years of experience in wrestling, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and Muay Thai kickboxing.
Roger now lives in Golden, Colorado, with his wife Jamie. Jamie is a service dog trainer, so their house is usually full of somewhat-well-behaved hounds.
