Eminent Domain: 'It's David against Goliath'

The Pryor (MO) Daily Times describes the passage of Missouri's new, meaningless eminent domain "reform," which, like too many other recent laws, does virtually nothing to protect property owners. Here's more from Missourinet. "Representative Steve Hobbs (R-Mexico), the bill sponsor, says it took cooperation from many different groups to reach a compromise on a bill that would pass the legislature." Yes, and we remember the joke about a camel being what a horse would look like if it were designed by a committee.
