Huell Howser should meet with victims of redevelopment

My friend Larry Gilbert makes a great point at the blog Orange Juice. Huell Howser, well known California PBS host, should make an effort to get to know some of the victims of California’s redevelopment industry. Sadly, Howser, who’s putting out a series of shows on alleged “success stories” of redevelopment in the state—and is being paid for it by the California Redevelopment Association—has so far shown no interest in covering the human cost of government projects that steal people’s homes and businesses to hand over to politically connected private developers.
