Missouri Removes 3 Species from State Endangered List

Specifically, the bald eagle, the barn owl, and the western fox snake.  Whether there will be more delistings is hard to say, given the comments of one official in the Missouri Department of Conservation: "The criteria for being on the list really comes down to someone convincing us as an agency that the plant or animal is in trouble in our state."
