Tomorrow afternoon, October 8, marks the grand opening for The Art of Matt Sissel, Matt's new studio/store in the ?art district of the pedestrian mall in his home town of Iowa City.

Matt, of course, is PLF's client in our constitutionally based lawsuit that targets the new federal health insurance mandate.  (In case you missed it, here's USA Today's writeup on the case.)  The costly mandate will be particularly burdensome for start-ups like Matt's – so he's fighting for the rights of small-business people across the country.

As detailed at the Iowa City Chamber of Commerce website, Matt's ribbon-cutting tomorrow takes place at 4:30 p.m. (Central Time), followed by an open house and wine and cheese reception.

A professional artist specializing in realistic drawing and painting, Matt will be using his studio as a teaching space as well as to display and sell his works.

Matt:  Everyone at PLF sends best wishes for a great opening day tomorrow, followed by many happy years of artistry and entrepreneurship at your new "world headquarters." !
